Our first batch of eggs!
No, not really. Our neighbors across the street brought over an egg from each of their four chickens. They have two Rhode Island Reds and two Leghorns. I had thought Leghorns were unfriendly factory chickens, but apparently that's not the case--theirs are friendlier than their RIRs. What productive little layers . . . man, Pot Pie better step up . . .

Today was habitat cleaning day, so now the girls are back in a clean enclosure . . . except they've probably pooped it up by now.
